Robbinsville Public Schools will be piloting subscription busing for the 2025-2026 school year. Subscription busing is offered to those pupils who, according to existing guidelines, are not eligible for school bus transportation to and from school. Subscription busing allows the Board of Education to provide transportation for a fee. All students not eligible for busing can apply for subscription busing on a first come, first serve basis. Bus stops will be based off the population of those requesting subscription busing and can be placed up to 0.5 miles from residence.

The cost of subscription busing will depend upon the number of families registered. A general range of cost is $1,200 to $1,600 per student. Those approved for free or reduced meals will be charged 20% of the full price cost (about $240 to $320 per student). Please note that once a student is placed on a bus, there will be no refunds of the subscription bus fee. If a family moves out of the district before the end of the school year, no refunds will be given, and spots are not transferable. Subscription busing is a yearly offering based on interest and prices will vary from year to year.
