Meet Our Staff

 Ms. Pamela Elmi, Founder & Director

Pam is a K-12 NJ licensed art teacher with 25+ years of community education administrative experience, specializing in extended day program management.  In the early 90’s Pam worked for the YMCA ‘Prime-Time’ after school program, serving the west end of Atlanta. For almost 8 years, she served as Director of Program Development at the YWCA Princeton which included coordination of their extensive after school program.  Pam came to Robbinsville after successfully running Princeton Young Achievers as their Executive Director for 4 years.  A graduate of Trenton State College and FIT/State University of New York, Pam remains an active mentor to TCNJ students as well as a former Trustee of Princeton Community Housing.  She has received accolades from the local media, New Jersey General Assembly, and parents for her design and implementation of the R.E.D. Program.  Pam was a 2015 "NJ Governor's Educator of the Year" nominee as well as "Pride of the Arts Council of Princeton Neighborhood Award" recipient in 2008.  You can find Ms. Elmi's after school editorials every spring in the 'Mercer County Woman' newspaper.
Ms. Lauren Anastasopoulos, R.E.D. Office Assistant
Lauren is a Paraprofessional with Lawrence Twp. Public Schools (since 2001) who also helped in the After School Office when that district did EDP in-house.  She has a BA in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as an AAS degree in Elementary and Special Education from Mercer County Community College.  Lauren started with R.E.D. in early 2015 as an Instructor. Her sunny disposition as well as computer and business skills are a perfect fit for the R.E.D. Administrative Office!

Mr. Gray has 34 years of public school teaching experience with a BA in Elementary Education from SUNY at Stony Brook and a Masters of Education degree from Trenton State College.  He is a NJ Certified Teacher of Grades K-8 and also holds a NJ Supervisory Certificate.  Gene was a successful Site Coordinator who helped at-risk children while at Princeton Young Achievers. Gene is also a Tour Director for STARR Tours. We appreciate his expertise when planning R.E.D. Travel Camp!

Mr. Rugved Dikay, Aide
We remember Rugved as a model student while he was enrolled in the R.E.D. Program himself.  He is the FIRST 'R.E.D. Graduate' to return as an employee!  His calm, professional demeanor, organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of R.E.D. really helps us every day.

Sandi has a working knowledge of R.E.D. already, she is the proud Grandmother of two R.E.D. graduates!  Her knowledge of baking and holiday crafts will go a long way with the Pond R.E.D. students.

Mrs. Lanna is new to the school age care world, but we can already tell she is a natural!  She has studied at MCCC as well as Burlington County Institute of Technology.  She is a certified personal trainer who keeps us on our toes!

Mr. Frank recently graduated from the Mercer County Performing Arts  High School.  He is currently an Education Major at Rider University.  He runs popular clubs with our Pond students such as 'Pokemon' and 'Dungeons & Dragons', not to mention Baking & Cake Decorating 101!

Ms. Libby Fischberg is also our Knitting Specialist at Pond Road.  Libby earned her BA in Education and Language at Hunter College, Deans List all the way through. She established New York City's first Head Start program in East Harlem and has an impressive Human Resources track record in places like the U.S. Department of Justice and the Bank of New York.  We are "in stitches" over Ms. Libby!

Ms. Deb Binder, Tutor

Ms. Binder is a district faculty member in the SPROWTS pre-school program.  She holds a BA from the University of Buffalo NY and a MAT from TCNJ.  R.E.D. is fortunate to have Deb as a tutor at both our Pond and Sharon programs!

R.E.D. is thrilled to have this multi-faceted certified teacher on our academic team at Pond.  With degrees from Rider as well as Western Connecticut State University, this 15 year public school veteran will ensure that Pond kids get their homework done on a daily basis.

Adrianna comes to us from the Hamilton Area YMCA.  She performed many integral roles there, including after school Site Coordinator and front desk operations.  She loves the fast pace of our Sharon School program where efficiency is key, especially right at dismissal!

 R.E.D. certainly hit the jackpot of talent when we met Kristin! With degrees from Rider University and TCNJ, she comes to us with a strong background in youth counseling.  Kristin is experienced in crisis intervention and outreach with a sunny personality and patient, professional demeanor.

Mrs. Field has over 25 years of childcare experience in Robbinsville. Her specialty in our program is Kindergarten Management. She's had 3 promotions in R.E.D.- from Instructor to Assistant Site Coordinator, and now Site Coordinator of the lower grades. With a background in Horticulture Design (she once ran a flower shop in Allentown), her crafts with children are the best of the best!

Increased enrollment in the R.E.D. Kindergarten area led us to promote Lori from Instructor to Assistant Site Coordinator. Lori Monaco comes to us with a wealth of experience from the YWCA Trenton pre-school program.  She has a B.A. in journalism from Rutgers University.  She has been the classroom aide in our very popular summer series "Discover Kindergarten."

After voluntering for a year at Pond R.E.D., Colleen brought her craft & beauty club talents with her to S.E.S.  It makes us very proud to mention, she is also a 'R.E.D. Graduate!'!

Mrs. Sandra Palazzolo, Instructor Grades K-1

Mrs. Palazzolo comes to us from the pre-school world with 16 years of experience!  She holds an A.A.S. from the Art Institute of Philadelphia.  Sandy is familiar with the Robbinsville community and already knows some of our families!

Ms. Debra Lorenzetti, Instructor Grades K-4

By day, Ms. Lorenzetti works in the classroom at Princeton Public Schools.  She is a certified elementary education teacher (T.C.N.J.) with dual experience in daycare management.  Debbie brings 10 years of valuable afterschool experience with her from Princeton Young Achievers.

Ms. Naomi Taylor-Ford, Aide Grades 2-4 
As someone who attended an extended day program as a child, Naomi has a unique appreciation for her students in R.E.D. grades 2-4.  She recalls learning Chess and other games in EDP, and passes that onto Robbinsville kids now.  Naomi attends MCCC as a Psychology Major.

Miss Celines Rivera is now a seasoned member of the R.E.D. team.  With childcare experience from the CYO of Mercer County & YMCA, she has many new ideas!  This year she will be following her RED first graders to the 2-4 section of our SES program! Always willing to step in for the greater good of R.E.D., she also occasionally serves as interim door monitor.

   Alyssa successfully completed a year-long Girl Scouts Gold Award project with R.E.D. as a volunteer.  Her American SIgn Language Club made a hugely positive impact on our elementary program!  Because of this, she was asked to return as an official R.E.D. staff member.                                 
Mr. Estuardo Deleon, Site Coordinator   Grades 2-4
Estuardo is a Rider University student who started off as a RED Volunteer.  He loves  music and staying fit. He was the quickest to learn our new ipad attendance application and was there to teach the rest of us when we needed it!  He has integrated new technology into our program with interactive LED projection games and dance & has grown into a leader, now supervising our 2-4 group!

Mr. F has extensive tutoring experience at the Huntington Learning Center and Chicago Public Schools.  He graduated from both Michigan State and DePaul University.  We are lucky to have this Sharon School faculty member as a valued member of our "Discover Kindergarten" summer faculty.

Mrs. Delhagen is a Sharon School faculty member with over 16 years  teaching experience. She is a graduate of Douglass College/Rutgers University. Thank you for helping us make homework a priority in R.E.D.! 
           Mr. CJ Nami, Tutor
 Mr. Nami is on faculty at Sharon Elementary and is our newest tutor here at R.E.D.  His teaching degree is from Rider University where he continues on for his Masters studies. Welcome CJ!


Ms. Marilyn Timony, Instructor
Since we already knew Ms. Timony as an outstanding Aide at the Sharon School, imagine our delight when she joined our team!  With over 20 years experience working with children, Marilyn also enjoys crochet, crafts, and reading.

Our Door Monitors
RED employs highly trained door monitors to keep our students and staff safe and organized 5 days a week at both Sharon and Pond.
