Meet Our Staff

 Ms. Pamela Elmi, Founder & Director 

Pam is a K-12 NJ licensed art teacher with 20+ years of community education administrative experience, specializing in extended day program management.  In the early 90’s Pam worked for the YMCA ‘Prime-Time’ after school program, serving the west end of Atlanta. Then for almost 8 years, she served as Director of Program Development at the YWCA Princeton which included coordination of their extensive after school program.  Pam came to Robbinsville after successfully running Princeton Young Achievers as their Executive Director for 4 years.  A graduate of Trenton State College, Pam remains an active mentor to TCNJ students as well as Trustee Emerita of Princeton Community Housing.  Pam is a local resident of Hamilton Square, and she is dedicated to Mercer County and its residents. Pam has received accolades from the local media, the New Jersey General Assembly, and parents for her design and implementation of the R.E.D. Program.  Most recently, Pam was a 2015 "NJ Governor's Educator of the Year" nominee.  You can find Pam's after school editorials every spring in the 'Mercer County Woman' newspaper.
Ms. Lauren Anastasopoulos, R.E.D. Office Assistant
Lauren is a Paraprofessional with Lawrence Twp. Public Schools (since 2001) who also helped in the After School Office when that district did EDP in-house.  She has a BA in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as an AAS degree in Elementary and Special Education from Mercer County Community College.  Lauren started with R.E.D. in early 2015 as an Instructor. Her sunny disposition as well as computer and business skills are a perfect fit for the R.E.D. Administrative Office!

Mr Gene Gray, Site Coordinator

Mr. Gray has 34 years of public school teaching experience with a BA in Elementary Education from SUNY at Stony Brook and a Masters of Education degree from Trenton State College.  He is a NJ Certified Teacher of Grades K-8 and also holds a NJ Supervisory Certificate.  Gene was a successful Site Coordinator who helped at-risk children while at Princeton Young Achievers. Gene is also a tour guide for Starr Tours. We appreciate his expertise when planning R.E.D. Travel Camp!

Mr. Tom Glass is a licensed physical education teacher with 24 years experience in teaching as well as athletic director duties.  He holds a BA from Chico State University in central California.  Tom is creating an ultimate frisbee team in our program which is already quite popular!

Mr. Frank recently graduated from the Mercer County Performing Arts  High School.  He is currently an Education Major at Rider University.  He runs popular clubs with our Pond students such as 'Pokemon' and 'Dungeons & Dragons', not to mention Baking & Cake Decorating 101!    

Mrs. Libby Fischberg, Knitting Specialist

Ms. Libby Fischberg is our Knitting Specialist at Pond Road.  Libby earned her BA in Education and Language at Hunter College, Deans List all the way through. She established New York City's first Head Start program in East Harlem and has an impressive Human Resources track record in places like the U.S. Department of Justice and the Bank of New York.  We are "in stitches" over Ms. Libby!

Miss Abby Schneider has been with the R.E.D. Program for 4+ years. She graduated from Robbinsville High School and is attending Arizona State. Whenever she is back home, she will continue subbing for us.

Mrs. Linda Field, Site Coordinator Sharon Grades K-1

Mrs. Field has over 25 years of childcare experience in Robbinsville. Her specialty in our program is Kindergarten Management. She's had 3 promotions in R.E.D.- from Instructor to Assistant Site Coordinator, and now Site Coordinator of the lower grades. With a background in Horticulture Design (she once ran a flower shop in Allentown), her crafts with children are the best of the best!

Increased enrollment in the R.E.D. Kindergarten area led us to promote Lori from Instructor to Assistant Site Coordinator. Lori Monaco comes to us with a wealth of experience from the YWCA Trenton pre-school program.  She has a B.A. in journalism from Rutgers University.  She has been the classroom aide in our very popular summer series "Discover Kindergarten."

Mrs. Palazzolo comes to us from the pre-school world with 16 years of experience!  She holds an A.A.S. from the Art Institute of Philadelphia.  Sandy is familiar with the Robbinsville community and already knows some of our families!

By day, Ms. Lorenzetti works in the classroom at Princeton Public Schools.  She is a certified elementary education teacher (T.C.N.J.) with dual experience in daycare management.  Debbie brings 10 years of valuable afterschool experience with her from Princeton Young Achievers.

Ms. Naomi Taylor-Ford, Aide Grades 2-4 
As someone who attended an extended day program as a child, Naomi has a unique appreciation for her students in R.E.D. grades 2-4.  She recalls learning Chess and other games in EDP, and passes that onto Robbinsville kids now.  Naomi attends MCCC as a Psychology Major.

Miss Celines Rivera, Aide Grades K-1
Miss Celines Rivera joined our growing staff 2 years ago.  With childcare experience from the CYO of Mercer County, she brings us many new ideas!  Celines is a student at MCCC and loves art, Dr. Seuss, and swimming!
Mr. Estuardo Deleon, Asst. Site Coordinator   Grades 2-4

Estuardo is a Rider University student who started off as a RED Volunteer.  He loves  music and staying fit. He was the quickest to learn our new ipad attendance application and was there to teach the rest of us when we needed it!  His specialty in our program is working as a 1:1 aide with special education students.

Mr. Andy Anastosopoulos, Instructor (Pond & Sharon)

Mr. Anastosopoulos has a B.S. in History from the College of NJ as well as an A.S. in Advertising Design from Mercer County Community College.  Mr. A. is interested in Native American Indian culture, wellness, and comic books. In his 4th school year with R.E.D., Andy has extensive experience in our am/pm as well as both Pond and Sharon programs.  His Basketball and Football clubs are very popular with our students!

Mrs. Damm has been teaching at the Sharon School for over 15 years.  She earned her teaching degree from the University of Delaware.

R.E.D. Tutor and Discover Kindergarten Teacher
Mr. F has extensive tutoring experience at the Huntington Learning Center and Chicago Public Schools.  He graduated from both Michigan State and DePaul University.  We are lucky to have this Sharon School faculty member in his 2nd year with R.E.D. as a tutor as well as a valued member of our "Discover Kindergarten" summer faculty.

Mrs. Delhagen is a Sharon School faculty member with over 16 years  teaching experience. She is a graduate of Douglass College/Rutgers University. Thank you for helping us make homework a priority in R.E.D.! 
Mrs. Doreen Risoldi, Instructor Grades 2-4
Mrs. Risoldi has experience as a long-term Kindergarten sub and special education aide both in our district as well as the Pennington School.  She holds a degree from Rider University and loves being in the education world after a successful corporate career.  Welcome Doreen!

Ms. McDonough is a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School.  For 3 years she has worked in the Future Leaders Program, as a before school program tutor. She attends TCNJ and has experience at both our Pond and Sharon Programs. Colleen's knowledge of music and technology has helped our program in a big way!  Her tie-dye club is very popular too!

Our Door Monitors
RED employs highly trained door monitors to keep our students and staff safe and organized 5 days a week at both Sharon and Pond.
