Robbinsville High School Athletic Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Robbinsville High School athletic program is to offer students the opportunity to exercise their athletic talent in a competitive arena designed to instill core character traits such as hard work, team play, personal discipline, fairness, respect, commitment, and cooperation.  Coaches and athletes are expected to serve as role models for the broader community where personal commitment to the greater good instills habits of mind and character that are essential for success in a diverse and changing world. 

 

Congratulations to Ravens Lacrosse Player A.J. Sanguinetti on scoring his 100th career goal during Saturday, April 21st's contest against Hopewell Valley High School.  Great job AJ and the Ravens Lacrosse Team!  Best of luck the rest of this season!  

Congratulations to Craig Hunter on his gold medal performance in the pole vault!  Craig is the first athlete from Robbinsville to win an All-Group championship in any sport.  Great job Ravens!

 

 Congratulations to Noel Jancewicz on her silver medal performance in the high jump at the New Jersey State Meet of Championships!  Her jump of 5 feet 8 inches is one of the top 10 jumps in the nation is indoor season.

Congratulations to Sam Burum for scoring his 1,000 career point Friday Febraury 24th vs. Ewing high School. Sam, along with his briother kevin, are the only two basketball players in RHS history to score 1,000 points in their career! Way to go Sam!

Congratulations to Craig Hunter for breaking the Mercer County record in the Pole Vault.  On Saturday, January 28th, Craig vaulted fifteen feet, one inch to break the old county record of fifteen feet set in 1989. Great job Craig!

 

**Congratulations to the Lady Ravens Swim Team on winning their first Patriot Division Championship!  Way to go ladies!!!!
 
**Congratulations to Ravens Wrestler Chris Tan as he won the Mercer County Wrestling Tournament on Saturday January 28th at the 106 pound weight class! Chris is only a sophomore and has a bright future ahead of him!
 
**Congratulations to the Girls Winter Track and Field team on their performances at the Group 1 State Relay Championships this past Saturday.  The team finished 6th in the state championship with 2 of the relays achieving podium performances.  The girls 4 x 800 meter relay of Lisa Leszcynski, Paris Hughes, Julie Swift and Morgan Michon ran to 3rd place in the state, and the high jump team of Julie Challender and Noel Jancewicz earned gold medals for winning the relay.  Great job Lady Ravens!
 
 
   **Congratulations to the Lady Ravens Basketball Team! They won the 2011 Over the River Holiday Basketball Tournament held at South Hunterdon High School. Taylor Mayweather was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament! Congratulations Ladies!!
 
  ** Congratulations to the Lady Ravens Soccer Team! They won theCentral Jersey Group II Sectional Championship and made it to their third state title game in four years. What an amazing four years this has been for this very special group of players! Well done ladies!!
 
   **Congratulations to Head Lady Ravens Soccer Coach Karen DeRossett who has been named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Region Coach of the Year!! Thanks for all of your efforts Mrs. DeRossett.

Robbinsville High School Athletic Eligibility Requirements:

  • To be eligible for the Spring season, all student athletes must have acquired 17.5 credits!

  • To be eligible for a Fall and/or Winter sport(s), all student athletes must pass 35 credits at the end of the school year.
